what happens at our go-kart parties
Our Go –kart Parties are designed to entertain all the children attending from start to finish. Before anything starts we sit all the children down and give them a safety talk and our trained staff are on hand throughout the party to give any help required.. The karts are suitable for children aged 4 – 8 years The children will be really excited to start! We split them into teams of 4 and then get them on the track! We like to get get the kids to have a race of some kind. With the cheers from the crowd and seeing the chequered flag waving as you go under the winning Grand Prix arch always bring a smile to their faces. Depending on the age and ability of the child we can make this harder with the use of cones. It’s amazing to see the level of concentration on their faces even at such a young age. The birthday child will then be lead to the winners podium to receive their extra special bespoke ‘Fab Fun Karting Gold Medal’. Finally, we bring back all the kids on to the track under the grand prix style arch and let the parents take some photos and bring out the birthday cake. We get the parents and children cheering and clapping and singing along to Happy Birthday; the atmosphere is amazing and the birthday child has now just had the ‘Best Party ever'

These fantastic karts are suitable for children up to the age of 10. They are easy to handle and great fun to drive.
We have a purpose built inflatable track which can be set up anywhere. The karts are simple to operate, just press and go. We also have an additional safety feature allowing us to remotely cut the power to all of our karts,

‘Safety’ is our number one concern. These are the main safety aspects of our Go-Karts:
Smooth controls make the Go-Karts easy to drive.
Front, side and rear bumpers; roll bar.
Strong brakes.
Adjustable cushioned seat; seat belt; padded cockpit
. Adjustable speed ranges of 1 – 4 mph or 1 – 6 mph, pre-set to suit each race.
Inflatable circuit gently absorbs accidental contacts. .
All Go-Karts undergo an annual MOT by the manufacturers.
The Go-Karts are also regularly checked and tested before every event.
All operators are fully CRB checked. At public events, if necessary we can also erect a secondary fence to maintain a distance between spectators and the track
In addition, signs are posted giving details of safety instructions, restrictions for age and height, and details of our insurance cover.
Remember all of our Go-Karts come with manual override in case of emergency. We are fully CRB checked and hold public liability insurance, our karts are designed to keep your child safe and this is our number one priority

ANYWHERE! The karts are powered by gel filled batteries which means that they also produce no noise, fumes or pollution. The karts can run on a multitude of surfaces including grass, concrete, tarmac and of course indoors in sports centre halls which is where we run the vast majority of our parties. Wide tyres and controlled acceleration
ANYWHERE! The karts are powered by gel filled batteries which means that they also produce no noise, fumes or pollution. The karts can run on a multitude of surfaces including grass, concrete, tarmac and of course indoors in sports centre halls which is where we run the vast majority of our parties. Wide tyres and controlled acceleration means that the karts cannot wheel spin when 'floored' and regenerative breaking assures the wheels cannot lock and can never skid to a halt. So floors will be left clean with no marks! The Karts run inside a blow up boundary track measuring 18 meters by 12 meters which is made of heavy duty PVC (like a bouncy castle) and provides for a safe and enclosed environment for the children and the Karts. This means that there is no way for the Karts to leave the track and when they crash (it is a case of when and not if!) the track brings them to a slow and safe halt and protects them from any nearby walls etc. These karts are suitable for indoor and outdoor use, tarmac or grass. .

Fab Fun are also able to cater for your party. We can provide either sandwich platters or we can bring along our fun food machines. Prices for these vary depending upon the amount of guests you are catering for.
